Kate Bradstreet is the Founder and Principal of Story Matters.
Connecting with audiences through stories of adversity, strength and success has been the foundation of her career.
Kate specialises in advising Boards, CEOs, Executives and organisations on highly-sensitive and complex policy, political and communication issues.
For two-decades Kate has driven large-scale social impact reforms in the areas of climate change, water, alcohol and drugs, domestic violence, and health-related issues.
Kate has extensive experience helping leaders and organisations deepen engagement with their people, and their stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.
She has a deep understanding and belief in the importance of connection and how to use it to deliver enhanced engagement with internal and external audiences.
As a former journalist, Kate understands the power of storytelling and how personal experiences can connect and engage audiences and impact systemic reforms.
Kate has worked as a senior executive within the Public Sector and has advised Ministers, Police Commissioners, CEOs, Executive teams and organisations.
She brings insights both having worked as a senior executive inside Government, and as a consultant on many Prime Ministerial and State Government taskforces.
Kate has a Master of Strategic Communications and a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications).
With experience in Authentic Leadership from Harvard Business School, she thrives helping other leaders find the strength in their story and voice.
Kate has received international recognition for communication and engagement, awarded three Gold Quill awards by the International Association of Business Communicators for her leadership and work at Ambulance Victoria.
Kate has a creative eye and incorporates her love of design into building beautiful and connected spaces for clients that helps tell their story.
